Please continue praying for what God is doing here. Today is February 4th, and Prime Minister Netanyahu, and a whole large group of advisers and leaders with him in Washington DC, will meet with President Trump. He’s extended his time there because there were so many who wanted to meet with him and many times very important things can happen in these other meetings as well.
Redrawing of the Map of the Middle East
So we encourage you to cover these meetings in prayer where major decisions will be made considering what we would call redrawing the map of the Middle East.
I used that phrase, redrawing the map of the Middle East, for a teaching about a month ago, and yesterday here in the newspapers they quoted Netanyahu saying that these meetings could indeed lead to a redrawing of this map, so let’s believe the Lord for God’s plan, for the map of the Middle East to come forth out of this time.
It was an amazing thing that a group of Christian leaders met with him yesterday and with Governor Mike Huckabee who will become the new Ambassador, Lord willing, here in Israel.
They had a time of prayer there, so one of his very first things on arriving in the States was to have Evangelical leaders praying over him and encouraging him and letting him know they’re standing together with him and with Israel.
I’m sure that strengthened and encouraged his heart a lot.
Pray for the direction of the Lord for Governor Mike Huckabee, as he becomes ambassador to Israel, and for President Trump in the plans for this nation and for this region.
Governor Huckabee was actually here at Succat Hallel I think about 3 or four years ago, and he and I co-officiated a wedding for a Messianic leader. So I got to meet him. He’s a wonderful man who loves the Lord very much and really has I believe God’s heart for Israel.
So pray for him and pray for the movement forward in connection with that important phrase, the finisher anointing.
The Finisher Anointing: Isaiah 47
Our friend Pastor Mario Bramnick who is involved in many governmental things was part of that group praying last night for Prime Minister Netanyahu, and he shared with us when we were with him recently in America that he felt the anointing for Trump, in his first term.
Trump was what would be called a Cyrus anointing, doing things that would further what God wants for Israel, such as moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing the Golan Heights as belonging to them.
These were very very important in the long term for Israel. But now that he is at that interim and is now the 47th president of the United States, Mario felt that it would be similar to the scripture in Isaiah 47 where it speaks of Darius.
Darius was the one with the finisher anointing who helped the Exiles return back to rebuild here in Jerusalem and in Israel. So let’s believe for the finisher anointing.
As we were praying this morning here in Succat Hallel, we felt the Holy Spirit strongly urge us to believe what has been started in Gaza and in Lebanon will not fall short again, that it will be a full uprooting.
We need to keep pressing in for a full uprooting of these demonic terrorist groups, Hamas and Hezbollah, but also for the Houthis in Yemen and for the Iranian regime.
We need to pray that all of these terror groups and also whatever the new formation is coming forth in Syria, which seems dominated by former ISIS and Al-Qaeda leaders, everything that is the enemy’s plan for the counterfeit highways to Jerusalem will be stopped, will be uprooted.
It will not just be pruned, but it will be fully rooted out.
Prayers for Gaza: Zechariah 9
As we were praying today, we were praying for the people of Gaza from the scriptures you’ve been praying with us. For example, Zechariah 9 says that Gaza will lose her King, and will become like a clan of Judah; that is a clan of praise.
So God’s desire and destiny for the people there is that they would become part of knowing Him and praising Him and be like part of the clan of Judah. And He said one of their ancient Philistine cities would become like the Jebusites.
The Jebusites were not Jewish, but they stood with King David and his kingdom. So we need to believe God that what happens in Gaza will not allow for a coming back of the same old culture and spirit of death, but that life would come forth.
An Orthodox Jewish leader here in Israel wrote a piece in the Washington Times that said the only hope for Gaza is Jesus, and he said we can win the military victories, but there’s a mentality that has to be changed.
He said they’ve noticed wherever Muslims turn to Jesus that they begin to love Israel, so let’s pray for that kind of thing to happen in Gaza and that the freedom of the gospel would go forth.
We’ve had Iranians who told us that they want to be set free so they can go minister and bring people to the Lord in Gaza. We’ve also thought that in Indonesia where huge numbers of Muslims have come to the Lord that they also could have some kind of a role to help open the doors for the gospel to go forth in Gaza.
So let’s press in for this finisher anointing, seek God’s purposes, and not stop short with a ceasefire. Let’s continue to believe in the fullness of what God wants, the full uprooting of evil terror systems like Hamas and Hezbollah, and the planting of the kingdom of God in places like Gaza and Lebanon.
Ezekiel 36: An Unfolding on the Mountains of Israel
Then lastly, very strongly on the Monday morning watch, the Lord spoke to us about Ezekiel 36. Now that is a chapter, and I encourage you to read and proclaim the whole chapter, that talks about the mountains of Israel.
If you look at a topographical map of Israel, you see the mountains are right down the center, like a backbone. The mountains of Israel mostly are found in what the world calls the West Bank, but which the Bible calls Judea and Samaria.
And in Ezekiel 36, God says of those mountains that “I will bring back my people out of exile in the nations and they will settle upon you and they will plant Vineyards and they will bring forth crops and they will be very fruitful.” and then, He says, He will move in such a way that He takes away the hardness of their heart and gives them a heart of flesh, sprinkling clean water upon them.
So somehow, the spiritual restoration of Israel is prophesied in Ezekiel 36, but it’s tied together with the physical restoration of the mountains of Israel, which, as I said, are mostly in Judea and Samaria.
So let’s believe that God will overrule in meetings that are taking place this week in Washington in such a way that Judea and Samaria can become what God has prophesied in Ezekiel 36. We encourage you to pray and proclaim these verses.
In the Monday watch, I had a vision where I saw an angel holding a scroll of Ezekiel 36, and the Lord told him it was time to unroll the scroll. In other words, it was a time for a beginning of fulfillment of Ezekiel 36.
And as he unrolled it, he unrolled it from Mount Hermon in the North of Israel all the way along all the mountains of Israel. And that scroll was over the mountains, and then it kind of folded and covered the mountains. The mountains were covered with the Word of God and His promises.
Then in the vision, I saw the blood of Jesus come over that scroll, over the mountains of Israel, and I saw snow. It says in Isaiah, God fulfills His word, and it will not return void, but will come like the rain, like the snow, it will fulfill what it’s called to do.
So let’s believe the Lord for the miracles that Ezekiel 36 lays out and that there will be an unfolding upon the mountains of Israel in this strategic time.
Once again, thank you for your prayers, and Shalom from Jerusalem.
Thank you for encouraging me to pray as you have been directed by God’s word, Ezekiel 36.
I will do that in support of God’s plans for Israel.
Thank you for your email that connects me with Israel.
God’s blessings of strength and endurance. Jesus is Lord.

Thank you for sharing this, Rick!
Praying these scriptures along with you for Israel and relations with the U.S.! I love what you shared about the Orthodox Jewish leader who said he noticed that “wherever Muslims turn to Jesus they begin to love Israel”! Recently, in a teaching series my pastor brought up the story of Hagar and Ishmael, and how God promised that He would also make a great nation through Hagar’s son, Ishmael. I have read that in the Word so many times, and never understood what justice there was in this for Hagar. The descendants of Ishmael were the early Muslims, and they have always been at odds with the descendants of Isaac, the son of promise, the Jews, for a very long time. As I have seen the testimony of so many Muslims coming to Christ since this war in Israel started, I was led to recall that in Romans 11:11, Paul states that “because of their (the Jews) transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make the Jews envious”. Could it be that God is using the Jews’ enemies (the Muslims) that have come to Christ, to make the Jews who do not yet recognize Yeshua as their Messiah, jealous for what they have in Him? -The descendants of Isaac and Ishmael finally being reconciled in Yeshua? How amazing to contemplate this as part of God’s plan of redemption for the descendants of Isaac and Ishmael! Isaac’s descendants bringing forth the Messiah, Yeshua (although most of the Jews have not recognized Him), and Ishmael’s descendants, the Muslims, instrumental to open Israel’s eyes to recognize Him!
Shalom brother Rick!
Greetings and we bless you there in Jerusalem with moving and changing prayers.
Amen
