Jerusalem and the nations.

About Us

Succat Hallel (Hebrew for Tabernacle of Praise) is a dynamic community of worshippers and intercessors from five continents drawn together to stand as watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem.

The Lord brought Rick & Patti Ridings to Jerusalem in 1999 to birth Succat Hallel. It began in their living room and grew into watches in various locations.

In November 2004 the Lord opened the door for Succat Hallel to relocate to a beautiful facility overlooking Mount Zion and the Old City of Jerusalem. Since then we have been crying out day and night 24/7 - until He makes Jerusalem a praise in all the earth.

Some have come short-term; others have made Jerusalem their home. All have the common desire to minister first unto the Lord, to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and intercede for Israel and the nations.

In Fall 2006 we opened a second, private prayer room in the City of David, the area where the original Tabernacle of David stood. In June 2007 we held our first annual youth/young adult conference.

Meet the Founders

Rick and Patricia Ridings are based in Jerusalem, where they founded and lead Succat Hallel, a ministry that lifts up worship and intercession, 24 hours a day from their facility overlooking the Temple Mt. and Mt. Zion.

Succat Hallel is known for youth worship and training bringing together hundreds of Jewish, Arab, and Palestinian youth. They have ministered extensively encouraging houses of prayer across the Middle East.

Rick and Patricia are considered leaders in the global prayer and worship movement. Their passion is to see a generation raised up that will give themselves fully in love and ministry to the Lord and who will serve the purposes of God in their generation.

Rick and Patricia have ministered on GOD TV, TBN, CBN, and in over 40 nations, speaking for churches, conferences, Bible and leadership training schools.

They have three daughters, all in worship ministry, two of them on earth, and one in heaven. They have fourteen grandchildren.
