Aliyah is a major theme in the scriptures. The Hebrew word means to ascend. Where are you ascending to? You’re ascending to Zion. You’re ascending to His land back to the place that He had established as a homeland for the Jewish people.

It’s interesting that at this time Satan has stirred people up to hate the word Zion. They hate the word Zionism. Martin Sarvis brought this to my notice recently. Throughout scripture, Zion represents such a centrality of God’s purposes.

Now they might say, “Well, I’m not anti-Jewish. I’m just anti-Zionism.” But it’s still Zion. It’s all the same thing. It just takes different names at different times.

This call of Aliyah is always historical. Every time there’s been a huge wave of Aliyah, every time, a major wave of Aliyah was preceded by a birthing prayer movement.

I believe God’s calling on the intercessors at this time is to hear God’s heart, and we should make ourselves available to the Lord for birthing prayer to birth the highways of Aliyah.

700 Scriptures Prophesying the Rebirth of Israel

There are actually over 700 scriptures that prophesy the rebirth of the modern nation state of Israel and the remarkable return of the Jewish people to this land. That’s why it’s so weird to me what I see in some of the social media comments where they’re saying, “Well, the Jews who are there are not the real Jews.” They’re all these different things.

It’s so crazy. God has so miraculously restored this modern rebirth of Israel. It’s obvious.

I mean, right at the very beginning, the Lord said in Amos 9, he said, “I will plant you in your own land never again to be uprooted.”

But it’s tied in with the prophecy about the tabernacle of David. Part of that is the restoration of prayer and worship that prepares the way for this rooting into the land.

It’s interesting. Several years ago, Michael Cohen, may his memory be blessed, was with us, and he was looking at the birth date of the modern state of Israel. He just thought, “Oh, it was on a Friday. That means that I can find out what was the passage of scripture that was read in the synagogues right after they signed the Declaration of Independence.”

When he looked up what had been read there in May, it was May 14th, 1948, and he came back so excited he said, “Guess what they read? The reading from the prophets on that Friday after they signed the declaration of independence was Amos 9:11-15 about the restoration of the tabernacle of David talking about a huge harvest in the world and then about Israel coming back to her own land and being planted in her land never again to be uprooted.”

If you go to the venue where they signed the Declaration of Independence in Tel Aviv, you’ll notice that on the walls later, they actually painted the passage from Amos 9: “I will plant them again in their own land, never again to be uprooted.”

There are all these miraculous things in Amos. Here you have a small little group of people, no army, and they’re immediately attacked by five standing armies. Five trained, organized, standing, equipped armies.

There’s no way they should have survived, but they did. If you just look through the history of every single attack against Israel, every time there are stories of miraculous occurrences.

We need to realize when the lie comes on social media trying to say well he’s not talking about the Israel of today. Yes, he’s talking about the Israel of today. It’s very obvious that this is the Israel that was prophesied.

The rebirth of Israel that was prophesied, and he said that there would this return. Again, there are over 700 scriptures not only prophesying the rebirth but the return of the Jewish people to this land. It’s very important to realize this.

    Isaiah 40: Highways of Aliyah

We’ll read in this scripture. Isaiah 40 starting at verse one.

It says, “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.”

He’s not saying, “I’m bringing you home to give you double for all your sins.” He said, “I’m bringing you home because you’ve already received double for your sins.”

I think he’s calling us to be a Ruth church, the Gentile church. Comfort my people. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, her sin paid for. She’s received from the Lord’s hand double for all of her sins. Then he begins the verse that is that often people only start there, but they should start at verse one.

Verse three, “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, prepare the way for the Lord. Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. The highway is not just a highway for the people. It’s a highway for God.”

It’s a highway for God’s purposes in revelation and manifestation. “Make straight to the desert a highway for our God.”

“Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low. The rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain, and the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

We all love the glory of the Lord being revealed, but He tells us how to get there.

How will the glory of the Lord be revealed in such a way that the whole earth sees it? It starts from verse one, comforting his people.

We’ll go into several different things in this passage. In 2015, Patricia and I and Norma Sarvis were able to be in Avitz Burkadau concentration camp for the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Avitz Burkanau. .

Poland in January is cold and so we’re in the midst of this very very cold thing and then let’s explain what happened with our friend Simontov who was there.

    The Story of Simontov

Simontov’s mom came to the Lord through a German intercessor, a beautiful believer in Yeshua, and she led his mom to the Lord. His mom had terrible bitterness toward the Germans, but it’s just beautiful how God healed her.

We were going through a museum and when we went through it, he saw a picture that was behind him, and he said, I think my parents must have been in that crowd because that was Thessaloniki. That’s where his parents came from before the Germans rounded them up, and took them to Auschwitz.

When he saw that painting he froze. He couldn’t move. He just couldn’t move.

We were Gentiles with Jews who had been especially affected by the Holocaust. It was just a very interesting dynamic that was happening.

We came here to comfort the people of Israel who we’ve worked with from the beginning of our time here 26 years ago.

Was this beautiful picture of comfort, comforting, you know, comforting the people of God and then the back and forth, you know, we comfort them and they comfort us and the love between the Jews and the Gentiles.

Simontov was so anointed when he shared it there in Poland. God is doing a great work in him. He made Aliyah, and I think he’s still here, isn’t he?

    Praise the Lord.

Isn’t it wonderful that a German lady led his mom to the Lord? It took him a while to forgive but then he was able to forgive. There in Poland we proclaimed forgiveness toward the German people in the city.

It was a beautiful time of comforting each other.

He said that back in the time before Greece had been invaded by the Nazis, there was a Jewish man who came through. He doesn’t know if he was Messianic or not. He just knows this Jewish man came to the Jewish community in Thessaloniki and in Athens.

He said, “Things are going to get worse. They’re going to get very bad and you need to be prepared.” He said, “You need to have places that you can go to and that you can flee when the invasion of the Nazis comes to Greece.”

In Thessaloniki, they laughed at this man. They said, “You’re crazy, Mishuga. You’re crazy.

Who do you think you are? Of course, we’re protected here. That, you know, this isn’t like other countries that we’re protected.”

Then he went to Athens, and when he went, it was a smaller community, but they listened to him and they went to Greek Orthodox monasteries in the mountains and they said, “If we have to suddenly flee from a Nazi invasion, would you hide us and protect us? We realize we’re asking you to risk your lives, but would you risk your lives to protect us if there’s a Nazi invasion?”

Long story short, there was the Nazi invasion. It was very swift. It was very sudden.

In Thessaloniki, they rounded up all 3,000 Jews in the city, including his parents who were shipped to Auschwitz and Burkadau.

In Athens, the small Jewish community heard the news and fled to the mountains quickly. There were Greek Orthodox monasteries who at the risk of their lives protected and hid these Athenian Jews.

Because they were prepared and because of Gentiles who were willing to pay the price, their lives were spared. Almost all 3,000 of the Thessaloniki Jews died in the camps. His parents were met in the camp and they were two of a handful of survivors from those 3,000. T

Prepare the Way of the Lord

    In Isaiah 40:3. it says:

“A voice of one calling: In the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord.”

The wilderness of course is the desert, and for those who are not from here. The word for the wilderness or the desert is midbar, which is related to medaber which means to speak.

In other words, in Hebrew, understanding the desert is not like I’m in this horrible dry place. That’s not so much the understanding of it. It’s much more, I’m in a place that’s quiet, and I can hear the voice of the Lord.

The wilderness is a place where God will speak to you. Prepare the way for the Lord. That’s a wilderness. The word of the Lord needs to be spoken but the way is prepared.

Every wave of Aliyah was preceded by a wave of intercession for Aliyah. Every major wave. We’re going to look at three major waves today.

I believe we’re called here in Succat Hallel to help prepare the way in prayer. I believe these houses of prayer and prayer groups all over the world are called to help prepare the way of the Lord through prayer.

Let’s look at these three waves.

The Preparation for the First Wave: The American Colony

First, 1881 through 1914 is the first big wave of Aliyah of modern Aliyah back to Jerusalem. There was something established here called the American colony. It’s a bit of a misnomer because it was actually about half Swedish.

It was a Swedish and American colony. They were an American Swedish group. They were led by Horatio Spafford. He’s the one who composed the song. It is well with my soul. You know that song?

He composed that after coming here, and his wife and four daughters were on their way here, and the ship they were on had a shipwreck, and his four daughters died, a very horrible, difficult, painful thing.

Out of that he and his wife said, “We’re still going to obey God and we’re going to believe the Lord for what he’s spoken to us.” They were criticized by many in their denomination, which I will not name but they were criticized by many in their denomination.

Even newspapers in Chicago where they came from, where he was a very prominent attorney, criticized him, because they believed the Jews would return to Israel and that there would be a modern nation state of Israel. On top of that, they didn’t like his charismatic, demonstrative style of prayer and belief in healing. Sound familiar?

He was an amazing amazing man of God. He and his wife Anna were an amazing couple, and they gathered this community around them that later was called the American colony.

We can’t say it all started here with Succat Hallel. You know, there’s always other forerunners. They prayed for hours a day here in Jerusalem. It was the first modern house of prayer in Jerusalem and as they prayed then God began to speak to them, and he said I want you to establish a soup kitchen and then later a hospital and later an orphanage.

    The First Wave

The first group that came were the Jews from Yemen, the place the Houthis are trying to destroy. They were very very poor.

They came across the desert and when they arrived the few well there were few hundred probably by then of Ashkenazi Jews who were here and had a prejudice toward them. There were huge cultural differences between them and unfortunately a lot of the Ashkenazi Jews who were here from Europe rejected these Sephardic Jews who were coming from the Middle East.

The American colony gentile Christians who were praying hours a day formed this soup kitchen and then a hospital and then an orphanage. They did all of this for the Yemenite Jews.

To this day, in the Yemenite Jewish prayer book, they have one page devoted to pray a blessing over Horatio Spafford’s family. Isn’t that cool? I mean, they have a page in their prayer book to pray for this gentile family who helped them to make Aliyah.

I think it’s such a picture of what God wants in these days of the kind of a Ruth gentile church that will stand with Naomi who has lost so much and returns home in great difficulty. That’s the first big wave then started with them 1881 through 1914 and it was primarily Sephardic Jews and especially Yemenite Jews who were coming here.

    The Second Wave

The second big wave was from 1948 through 1951 right after the reestablishment of the modern state of Israel and here I believe the main one of the main birthing places was a house of prayer in Wales.

The Bible College of Wales was really a house of prayer and hours a day they would worship and they would pray, all of these students in this Bible college of Wales. They were led by a man whose name was Rees Howells, and if you’ve not read it I highly encourage you to read the book Rees Howells Intercessor by Norman Grubb. It’s a very very powerful book.

After he read the proclamation by Italy on September 3rd 1938 that all Jews must be cleared out of Italy within six months, and with antisemitism so fierce in Germany, a heavy burden from the Holy Spirit came upon Rees Howells.

He saw the need for them to go back to their homeland. The real answer for them, Reed thought, was not to just somehow break through there in Germany or in Italy. But they needed a homeland where they could be safe and where they could defend themselves.

He and the college students were led in very specific ways to pray that had clear results in the war against the Nazis. I wish I had time to go into more of that, but long story short, rather than praying just what they read in the headlines, which was very discouraging at that time and basically was saying Hitler was winning, they asked the Lord, “Lord, what are you doing?”

The Lord would show them. For example, they prayed that Hitler would make a stupid military judgment and take his troops into Russia before the winter. He thought he would go in quickly and be back out before winter, and he got caught in the winter blizzards in Russia and got bogged down.

And it was a turning point in the war because God showed the Bible College of Wales what he was going to do. It’s what we call third heaven intercession where in worship and prayer we get up to where we see what God’s doing and what God wants to do. Rather than just praying in response to the news, we make the news with God. Amen.

Isn’t it better to be part of making news with the Lord rather than just responding to the news?

It doesn’t mean it’s wrong to pray according to what we hear if it’s accurate news, which is not always assured. Bottom line: in prayer and worship God can get us up to a place where he speaks things from scriptures, and this is what happened with them.

They prayed so many things that then were in the headlines, as when the whole shift in the war began to happen, specific things. And through that all they also built bought a facility to receive Jewish refugee children, and this was described in British newspapers as a “city of refuge in Wales for Jewish children.” What a wonderful, amazing thing?

They were criticized for this. There were antisemites even in the church in England in Wales that criticized them for this, but there were others that understood it and joined in with them. And they prepared this orphanage and began to receive Jewish children rescued out out of the Nazi areas.

There is a quote in the Rees Howells Intercessor book. It says, “Through the years of the war, the Jews were never forgotten.

Although prayer to God was mainly for the affairs of the nations, they were praying for the nations and against Nazism and what was happening. As Mr. Howells said when the war came he changed us from praying primarily only for the Jews but to pray also against the beast, a name he commonly gave to the devil in the Nazi system.

But it was after the war again in October and November, 1947, that whole days were given to praying through for the Jews to return to Palestine. Mr. Howells said, “We pleaded that because of his covenant with Abraham 4,000 years ago, God would take his people back to their land and Palestine.”

Palestine was a name given by the Romans you know based on the Philistines as a term of reproach. They called Israel Palestine.

At that time, when newspaper articles talked about Muslims attacking Palestinians and they meant the Jews. It’s interesting there but terms sometimes are stolen. They prayed that it would once again become a Jewish state.

Back in 2015, the Bible College of Wales opened up again. It had been closed for something like 20, 30 years at least. There was a dear Korean intercessor who went to the Bible College of Wales and prayed and prayed and prayed that it would not be sold for housing developments, but that it would be resurrected, that God would reopen the well of the Bible College of Wales.

Just when they were on the verge of selling it because the Bible college had moved away and had lost its original vision and it was just this land to be sold and these buildings and just as it was about to be sold for a housing development, God put in the heart of a church in Singapore to buy the property and to restore a Bible college on that property. Isn’t that cool?

One intercessor holding the ground there all those years. He would come here back and forth. Very special guy. We went there in 2015. I was invited to come to the Bible College of Wales to speak specifically on reopening the well of prayer for Israel and reopening the well of prayer for governments.

At that time the church in Singapore that had bought the property wasn’t that much into this yet.

They are now and we do things by Zoom now sometimes but that time that it wasn’t a major theme to them.

As we went there, I felt like the Lord said, “I want you to take oil, and I want you to put it in a well there on the property of the Bible College of Wales, and I want you to declare that I’m reopening the wells of that anointing, the Rees Howells mantle, Rees Howells anointing for intercession for Israel and the Jewish people and governments.”

I thought, “Wow, that sounds exciting.” When we got there, I thought, “Oh, what if they don’t have a well?” I asked the leaders of the Bible college, they just reopened like maybe a year before. I said, “I kind of felt like I should do a prophetic action here with oil into a well. Do you have a well on your property?”

He said, “That’s interesting that you’d ask that. We didn’t know we had a well all these months.

About two months ago, our gardener was in the lower part of the property clearing a bunch of bushes and things and he discovered a well that was there.” Sorry, just in time. Praise God.

Rees Howells had a son named Samuel Howells and the Bible college went on for a few years under his son. This man now in his 80s was a student of that Bible college of Wales before it closed down.

He had a stroke a year or two before and he said, “I was so ready to go home and meet the Lord.” I was all excited about meeting the Lord and the Lord said, “No, you can’t come home yet, you have to pray and reopen the well of the Bible College for Israel.”

We put oil upon a stone that is a memorial of how God supplied miraculously for them, and poured the oil into the well of the Bible College of Wales saying, “Lord, reopen the wells. Open the well again and give that mantle and that anointing again to pray for Your purposes for the Jewish people and for nations.”

    The Third Wave

The third major wave of Aliyah was from 1990 to 1994. That was at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union. There were huge numbers of Jewish people who came back and made Aliyah.

Many of you probably know people Jewish believers who came and made Aliyah from the former Soviet Union during that time. That also was preceded by a birthing prayer movement.

There were strategic prayer conferences and on-site prayer concerning Aliyah from the Soviet Union. Primary leaders of this movement of prayer were Shel Schulbert, Gustaf Sheller, Johannes Foccus, Steve Lightle, and Roland Smith. Patricia and I were new in Europe at that time in Belgium.

As we were praying and knew and asking the Lord how to pray, one of the things God began to show us was to pray for the fall of the Berlin wall and the collapse of the Berlin wall and the collapse of Soviet communism and all of its evil fruit. I won’t go into all the stories of that, but these prayer leaders were part of something that began to happen. There were others: an evangelical sisterhood of Mary called a lady named Basilea Schlink who began calling German speakers to confess the sins of their forefathers.

Until then a lot of them just said, “No, that’s my parents or my grandparents. That’s not me. They were doing that.” She began to say we need to do Daniel 9.

We and our fathers have sinned. We need to confess this as a corporate sin. We need to confess as a sin of our grandparents.

She and these others began to share in prayer conferences and it began to grow until finally they had a meeting in West Berlin. In that meeting, they washed the feet of a group of Messianic leaders that they brought, Jewish leaders that they brought from Israel. They washed their feet publicly in a large stadium full of German intercessors, praying, confessing the sin of their nation.

Like 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, they were humbling themselves, praying, seeking his face, turning from their wicked ways, and asking God, “Come and heal our nation.” We believe you to hear from heaven. Forgive our sin and heal our land.

The amazing thing was this breakthrough concerning the Berlin Wall at a certain point after this larger event asking forgiveness for the sins of their fathers to Jewish Messianic leaders. Many of us began to proclaim and I was young and being mentored under some of these people. We began to proclaim the Berlin Wall is going to come down.

The Iron Curtain is going to come down. That sounded just as crazy then as it was a few months ago to say the regime in Iran is going to come down or two years ago, which we felt the Lord said we were to begin to proclaim, and it sounded just as crazy if we would say today communist China will no longer be communist. It sounded crazy.

But God spoke it very clearly, and it was confirmed between so many leaders to pray for this. And the day happened where the Berlin wall came down.

    Make Straight a Highway

Number three make straight a highway and I believe that speaks of the raising up of places of refuge for Jews who will flee antisemitism.

There’s a highway that has to be prepared. He says make it straight. Highways in Hebrew, there are two different words.

There is a word in ancient Hebrew for just a plain old road. You have a derek, which is just a road. A highway was a mesilla. It was built up. It means higher.

It was built up of stone, and It was only for the king.

The king would be carried on a portable throne called a palanquin. He would be carried on the shoulders of his servants, and if the highway was not flat, they’d fall over and he would tip over.

You wanted the highway to be very straight if you were carrying the king in that way. What is he saying here? He’s saying there’s something that needs to be made smooth that needs to be prepared.

He says in Jeremiah 16:14, and this is a key verse for the whole thing of Aliyah,

“However, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ but it will be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.

“But now I will send for many fishermen,” declares the Lord, “and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.”

This is a very serious scripture because he’s saying, “I’ll send fishermen.” He did.

We know of many ministries that went out into the former Soviet Union before and right after it collapsed and began to tell the Jewish people, “It’s time to come home.”

Many of them came and those who came hearing them were able to bring more of their goods with them. Those who did not listen, there was a rising antisemitism that came up to the point where huge numbers of Jewish people had to flee only with their suitcases.

I remember at that time we were working with Ebenezer Ministries and they had a ship that would go from Odessa Ukraine here to Israel to Haifa.

They asked if some of our young people would go on the ship with them and just help and serve and then at night do songs, Jewish songs, teach them Hebrew songs and dances and try to encourage them because they were leaving their homes with just a couple of suitcases of belongings.

I remember one of our young men, he said, “I got there and he said this whole family only had two suitcases.” He said, “I took one of their little kids so I could help with the suitcases.” I put him up on my shoulders. Then I took their suitcases.

Suddenly I remembered the scripture that said, “And the Gentiles shall carry you home on their shoulders.” He said, “Wow.” You know, I’m part of fulfilling prophecy.

He was a gentile carrying a little Jewish kid on his shoulders. There were fishermen, but then there began to be a time of quite strong antisemitism where many had to flee, like I said, with only the bare minimum of their goods.

During World War II in the time of the Nazis, there were many many righteous Gentiles, but one was a lady named Corrie ten Boom and there’s a movie made of her life.

It’s very old, but it’s an amazing movie, and it’s a true story about how she was the daughter of a man who would pray every day for the Jewish people during Nazi times.

He was a clock maker. In their shop, they made a false wall where the Jews could quickly go in and hide behind this wall. There were even Jews who had to hide there for three and four days with no food and no water because the Nazis were searching for them.

This family was so committed that they were willing to do whatever they cost. They knew they were risking their lives and eventually they were all put into a concentration camp. I had the privilege of hearing her one time when I was young. She came and spoke and shared this story and then we had the privilege of going into the hiding place. It’s just a very powerful thing that they did.

    Houses of Prayer

What am I saying through this? I believe it’s time to connect a lot of dots right now. I believe God over the world wants us to pray for the birthing of houses of refuge, cities of refuge, valleys of refuge, and transportation for fleeing Jews who will flee back to Israel.

The key, I believe, is to tap into the house of prayer movement. I believe God is calling the House of Prayer movement to not only help birth this, but help prepare places in certain countries and cities that will be places of refuge for Jews who will flee from major antisemitism.

Patricia and I have met many people over the Lord who spoke this to us many years ago and we’ve met people in different countries. Someone would come up in Switzerland say, “I’ve have a barn and the Lord told me to make a false wall there and prepare a place in my barn so that Jews who are fleeing from antisemitism at a certain moment may be able to come and stay here and we can be a house of refuge for them.”

We were in the east coast of the United States and ministering in Savannah, Georgia, and we met a man who had been in the military and he had a yacht. He had been quite high like a lieutenant general or something and he had a yacht and when he retired he said I was going to sell it.

I just thought we can’t really afford to keep this yacht and take care of it. He said, “God spoke to me and said, ‘You must keep the boat because you will use the yacht to take fleeing Jews in America out to ships who will receive them.”

Different people are already hearing this and we need to pray that God will raise up houses of refuge, cities of refuge, valleys of refuge.

God will prepare also the transportation systems.

    A Time to Fish

Number four, it’s also a time to fish, and there’s great hope for Latin and South America. Antisemitism could rise very rapidly as we’ve seen happen on campuses in America, in England and France and different things and you know it’s weird in a way how quickly there can be a shift in that way.

I believe God is using what Satan means for evil in antisemitism for his Jewish people to hear I need to go home. It’s time for me to go home.

In the year 2000 when we’d first come here, we were up on the promenade up here. Those of you local would know that. It overlooks the city of Jerusalem. As we were praying, I had a vision of a bridge from Latin and South America.

It was like a rainbow of promise. Not a rainbow obviously that the devil co-opted for his movements. The rainbow in the Bible is a sight of promise, of hope, of God keeping his promises, his covenants.

I saw this rainbow bridge from South America. I saw people with kippas on their heads, and I understood in the vision that some of them were Jewish and were representing Jews returning back. Others were Gentiles who were standing with the Jewish people and helping them to come back.

They were walking on this bridge, and there were tongues of fire on top of their heads. Many of them were coming already filled with the Holy Spirit and with the fire of God.

Gentiles who accompanied them and loved these Jewish people and also Jewish people who’d already come to the Lord and been filled with the Holy Spirit and had these tongues of fire. At the same time, our daughter Anna had almost the identical vision. Totally separate.

She had almost exactly the same vision. Only in her vision when they got to this side, there was witchcraft going on, and they had to go counterclockwise to undo witchcraft that was trying to keep these people from being able to make Aliyah and settle back here.

There were angels helping deliver these people.

I saw in the news that Brazil in South America is like the third among the nations that has the biggest population of Jews. That was very interesting. Yes. After Israel, and America, there is Brazil. There’s many Jews that don’t even know that they’re Jewish there.

Pray for Aliyah From South America

If you can pray with me for the South Americans to come back.

Lord Jesus, we lift up your name. We thank you, Lord, that it’s your will to bring back your people to the land, Lord Jesus.

Thank you. That is your promise that you will bring them back, Lord Jesus. We pray specific for South America and Latin America that you would awaken the hearts of the Jews, Lord Jesus, to come back to the land that you’ve promised them, Lord Jesus.

We pray that in the process they would have their hearts awakened to come back and do Aliyah. Lord, that you would give them visions and dreams that that’s Your will. We pray that You would really awaken their hearts for that and that You would open the doors for them to Come Lord Jesus and that in this process Father You would reveal your Son.

Lord, we pray that you would give them courage to step in this process, that they would leave what they built behind and they would start this new journey with you, coming back to the land. That they would know that they have a future and they have a promise about coming to the land that they were promised, Lord Jesus, and I pray that they would have courage to do that and in the process they would have the revelation of Yeshua.

Let them come and let their hearts be awakened here Lord with a cry and longing for Your maranatha, Lord Jesus, and we pray that You would heal them Lord Jesus, that You would restore them and bring joy upon their hearts Lord Jesus.

    Amen.

    The Season of the Hunters

Thank you, Lord. Now we’re going to pray into something else but I want to explain it before we pray. Different things are going on in different continents and countries, in France and England and America, many parts of America.

The hunters are already being released. It’s shifting from the season of fishermen into the season of hunters. We need to pray that as many as possible will hear before the tail end of this season of fishermen.

In Brazil and in Latin and South America, it’s still right now a time of the fishermen. There’s an interesting scripture in Isaiah 60:8-9. It says,

Who are these that fly along like clouds,

    like doves to their nests?

    Surely the islands look to me;

in the lead are the ships of Tarshish,

    bringing your children from afar,

    with their silver and gold,

to the honor of the Lord your God,

    the Holy One of Israel,

for he has endowed you with splendor.

Tarshish was a city at the very western point of Spain, and it was a place from which ships sailed in the sovereignty of God. These ships eventually brought many Jews into North America, South America, Latin America, Brazil. Many of those ships left from Tarshish.

I believe he’s saying by Tarshish the ship that brought the Jews to the west, and they will come first to bring your sons from afar. Many of them he says are flying like clouds. He’s trying to describe airplanes.

He says, “They’ll come with their silver and their gold with them to the name of the Lord your God, to the holy one of Israel because he has glorified you.” I believe is prophesying that there will be a time of fishermen in especially Latin and South America, Brazil that will be Jews that will hear the Lord and come home with their riches rather than waiting until they’ve lost everything.

Matt Beer, some of you know a dear brother here, and he’s I believe late 40s, early 50s, and was had a successful business in the United States. He had a dream of his grandmother who survived the Holocaust. In the dream, she said, “Matt, it’s better to make Aliyah too early rather than too late.” What a statement.

Much better to make it too early than to wait and make it too late.

It was a big upheaval to bring his family, his children. Many Jewish people would have said, “Well, I’ll wait till my kids are grown up and then we’ll come but because of this dream he came and God enabled his family to transition and live here and keep up his business.

It has not been easy, but he’s so thankful that he listened to the voice of the Lord and has the riches of his business rather than coming home with two little suitcases. Do you hear what I’m saying here?

This is a similar story to the way my son-in-law Adam Rosenfeld’s grandfather came.

He came in the late 20s here. He felt God told him to make Aliyah and his whole family ridiculed him because he was living in a little tiny place up in Galilee.

They had malaria there in addition to Muslims shooting at them. They said, “You’re crazy, Mashuga. What in the world? We have our nice homes. We have our nice businesses here in Poland. Why in the world are you doing this?” This was at the very end of the 20s.

By the end of World War II, all his family had died in Poland. Every one of them, mother, father, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, the whole extended family, because they waited too late.

They didn’t even just come with two little suitcases. They died there in Poland under the Nazi regime because they waited too long.

I’m going to ask Yoshi if he will come. He’s our grandson, some of you know and I’m going to ask him if he will pray that Jewish people anywhere can still come with their riches, will come with their wealth and not wait too long and lose everything or lose their lives, worse off, as did so much of his of the Rosenfeld extended family.

Yes, heavenly father, I thank you God for home, God, for this land, God, that you promised to Abraham, and that you came here born in Bethlehem, Lord, you sent your son Yeshua to come here to Israel and he’s coming back as the king of glory, God.

We ask God that you may revive the hearts of the people from all over the world, God, from South America, from Europe, God, to see that you’re coming back, God, to a purified bride in Israel, God.

I just ask God for awakened hearts just like it says in Psalms, who will ascend the hill of the Lord? Who will enter his holy place? He who has clean hands and pure heart who hasn’t sworn deceitfully or lifted his soul to an idol.

This is the generation of Jacob, the one who seeks the face of the Lord. Lift up your gates oh and let the king of glory come in. Who is this king of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty in battle.

I thank you God that you are coming back God to your holy hill God. To open the eyes of this young generation, God, to know that it’s not too late to come, God, or even to pray for this nation, God, because we’re in desperate need for your revival and your Holy Spirit, God, and you are coming back, God.

Revive the hearts, God, and give them your shalom, God, and whoever is to move and to do Aliyah, let it be done, God, by your grace and your peace, God. I just ask too for the Middle East, God, for the believers in Iran, too. If there’s any Jewish believers in Iran that are to make Aliyah, God, you’re a miracle working God.

I ask God that you may make it happen, God, because you’re a God of miracles and you’re a God of shalom. Yes. Speak your shalom over this wave of Aliyah that is coming in Yeshua’s name.

    Amen. Amen. Amen.

Now, I believe that the Lord says in Isaiah 60, which we just read, that there will be government leaders from certain nations who will align with Jerusalem and against antisemitism and they will facilitate highways of commerce between their nation and Israel.

In Isaiah 60:3, he says, “Nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

In other words, and he’s speaking that in the context. He’s not talking when we say the glory of the Lord will rise upon you. So many gentile churches, we just take that to be talking about us.

Really, it’s addressed to Jerusalem. He’s saying the glory of the Lord is going to rise on you. The sun is going to rise.

There were kings and nations will come to the brightness of your dawn. We’re at a decision time for nations. He’s saying that certain nations will join the purposes of the Lord.

They will come to the light that begins rising. God’s going to pour out his Holy Spirit here. God’s going to shine his light here very strongly.

There are certain kings and leaders that will align. Others will not align. Some will just have to escape from the rise in antisemitism.

It says in Isaiah 14:1 and 2, the Lord will have compassion on Jacob. He will again choose Israel to settle them in their own land.

He says there are foreigners who will join them and unite with the descendants of Abraham. In other words, there’s like a Ruth church that will rise up, a gentile church who will join with the Jewish people for His purposes. Nations will take them and bring them back again to their own place.

At the same time in some nations, they will have to flee with cities of refuge, houses of refuge, ships, boats, airplanes, whatever fake passports, whatever needs to be done, they’ll have to flee.

I want to share a story from Guatemala. I believe it’s a forerunner nation in this way. Guatemala in Latin America was a turning point vote as I understand it in the United Nations when they recognized Israel as a modern nation state, and they also moved their embassy to Jerusalem in May 2018.

Their president took a stand early on and said, “Any nation that comes against Israel is coming against Guatemala. Any nation that stands with Israel is standing with Guatemala.”

When we were there in Guatemala, a large Jewish community was there in Guatemala City and they asked me to share about Aliyah. I thought, how do you share about Aliyah?

I was concerned that it would make it seem to Guatemala that we’re telling all the Jews to take their money and leave Guatemala. It makes it sound to the Jews like you’re not to be here. I said, Lord, how do we do this? I felt like the Lord say, tell them about your neighborhood. So I did.

In our neighborhood, there are a lot of French-speaking Jews who saw what is already rapidly rising in France and came to Israel, got their citizenship, and made Aliyah. They opened a bank account here, then they went back home to France and used their business there to promote new creative entrepreneurial ideas from Israel in France.

They made a lot of money in France, and they’ve been transferring the money into their bank account here, but they’re paying taxes in France. They’re blessing France.

At the same time, they’re transferring a lot of funds here into Israel. They have these apartments in our neighborhood. We hear them at times speaking French because we speak French.

I felt like the Lord say, “Tell the Jewish community, you can come now. You can get your citizenship. You can buy an apartment.

You can open a bank account. You can do business back and forth. Bless Guatemala with the business ideas coming from Israel and bless Israel with coming when you eventually do have to make Aliyah that you already have your silver and your gold with you rather than coming with a couple small suitcases.”

Do you hear the difference? God was prophesying clearly in Isaiah that some from the West would come back with their silver and with their gold. We need to pray for that to happen.

    Valleys Raised, Hills Made Low

“Every valley shall be raised up and every mountain and hill shall be made low.” The valleys I believe are those that are oppressed by antisemitism and are restored and healed that they would find this to be a place of healing and God would minister to them.

I believe the valleys being made low are gentile believers who bring down the obstacles that are in the ways of the Jews concerning the land and concerning Yeshua.

That’s what happened in Germany for example with those gatherings where they washed the feet of the Jewish people and said we and our forefathers have sinned. That was bringing down a mountain. Does that make sense to you?

We are to believe that there will be a Ruth church that will not fail the Jewish people as did much of the church in the Nazi time. Appreciate our friend Tomas Sandell in Europe who preaches this all over Europe continually that there needs to be a church who will pay any price to stand with the Jewish people with the rising antisemitism there.

One thing is repentance prayer that brings those valleys down. Raises up the valleys and brings the mountains down. Also, there’s a proclamation prayer that opens and closes doors.

Some will be led to prayer journeys to particular things.

Isaiah chapter 13 verse 2-3. Lift up a banner on a high mountain. Raise your voice to them.

Raise a banner on a bare hilltop,

    shout to them;

    beckon to them

to enter the gates of the nobles.

    I have commanded those I prepared for battle;

I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath—

those who rejoice in my triumph.

I recently heard there was a task force appointed by the government that is working on ways to streamline Aliyah so that it will be easier with less bureaucracy and that people can move back more easily. We need to pray for them. We need to pray God give them wisdom.

Give them very practical things that will make it easier for people to make Aliyah. That they don’t get here and find it’s too difficult and say oh I’m just going to go home. I give up.

But they’ll find it easier to make Aliyah. That’s part of our prayer here and anything the Holy Spirit may lead to for people that are here.

We need to pray that there will be prayer and spirit-led actions to make it easier. Two areas needing special attention are the ministry of interior. Many in this room would recognize that there needs a lot to be a lot of prayer for the ministry of interior.

One time the Lord spoke to me and he said either I’m sovereign over the ministry of interior in Israel or I’m not sovereign. I can’t be sovereign over everything in the whole world except the ministry of interior.

Lord, we declare tonight in this room that the Lord God Almighty is sovereign over the ministry of interior of the state of Israel and that the Lord God Almighty will move out people that need to be moved out that are obstacles to Aliyah.

We declare that believers will easily be able to make Aliyah. Jewish believers that no longer will it be difficult for them to make Aliyah, but that Jewish believers can easily make Aliyah.

We believe you, Lord, for a cleansing and a shifting and a changing in the ministry of interior because you’re sovereign over the ministry of interior and we declare your sovereignty.

The other thing is the creation of viable jobs for those making Aliyah.

<Lord, we pray for people who’ve been trained in certain ways. I think of our own Carrie Teplinsky who came as a medical doctor, a cardiac specialist of a large department at a hospital in Los Angeles and it was a huge huge sacrifice and a huge adjustment to be able to come into Israel to make Aliyah.

We need to believe the Lord that there will be viable jobs. God opened up a way now through these virtual things where he could do things. Also some other things that God opened up.

Ezekiel 37: 11-14 The Glory of the Lord Shall be Revealed

What’s the end of Aliyah? What’s the end of this process of comforting his people and these highways being raised up? That is that the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and that all the people shall see it together.

I want to close with this Ezekiel 37:11-14 because many people in the nations say to me, well, you know, I visited Israel and I thought it was the holy land and when I got there, it didn’t seem very holy to me.

God said it is the holy land. Set apart for His purposes with the Jewish people, but also to welcome people other peoples in. He didn’t say they would return home as living bodies, but as dry dead, dry bones, most of them.

What does it say in Ezekiel 37:11-14? He connects the dead, dry bones together.

Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”

We see that those of us who live here in Israel, we’ll see a Yemenite background Jew who’s marrying a Russian Jew. We’ll see an Ethiopian Jew who’s marrying a British Jew. All these kinds of things are in the connecting of the bones together. He says, I’ll connect, but then he breathes on the dead dry bones.

That’s where I want to come to these verses. Ezekiel 37 11-14 which explains that whole story of the spiritual restoration of the bones that happens when they’re already in the land. He says Son of Man these bones are the people of Israel.

Ezekiel 37 is about Israel and about the Jewish people. He said the bones are, he makes it very clear, the people of Israel. They say our bones are dried up. Our hope is gone. We are cut off.

How will they know that He is the Lord? As He keeps his word to bring them out of their graves in the nations, brings them back as dead dry bones and then breathes upon them here. I will bring you back from them.

I will open up your graves, bring you back from them. I will put my spirit or in Hebrew, my ruach, my breath, my holy spirit in you and you will live. He says it won’t just be a physical restoration.

Up until now it’s primarily been a physical restoration. We’re moving into the season of the breath of God of spiritual restoration. He is bringing his people home and most of them will come to life here.

Praise God for those that come to life already at another place and come back. What a blessing. But he said most of them won’t come alive spiritually until they’re back here.

That’s another reason we’re praying for all of the Jewish people to come back home so he can breathe upon them his spirit. He said, “And you will live.” He didn’t say, “You’ll survive.

You’ll exist. You’ll have a horrible difficult existence.” He said, “You will live.”

You will thrive in the land and I will settle you in your own land.” God is the settler. He says, “I will settle you in your own land.

Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken and I have done it, declares the Lord.

Lord God Almighty, we thank you that you are almighty. We thank you, Lord.

Nothing catches You by surprise. You’re all these prophetic words and things from 2,700 years ago, things like this, Lord, that were already prophesied. We thank You for the 700 scriptures that said you will bring your people home from the nations.

We thank You Lord that You are in our lifetime in our right now raising up a Ruth church, Gentile church worldwide that will love Naomi. Even when Naomi is bitter, even when Naomi is angry, even when Naomi wants to push Ruth away in many ways, that will say, “Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God.

Thank You, Lord, that You raised up Ruth to love and comfort and care for Naomi when Naomi was in a very difficult place and was probably a very difficult person to live with. She was very bitter, very angry, very disappointed, and very hopeless. You used Ruth to help give her hope. You used Ruth to help love her, to help comfort her, to help her come back home.

We thank You that because of that, you gave Ruth a place even in the lineage of David,, the lineage of You, Yeshua, Yourself. We pray that You will raise up a Ruth Gentile church. In all the nations that will stand with your people, with Naomi, will love her, will comfort her, will accompany her, will journey with her from that place of bitterness and disappointment to the place of healing and restoration and joy.

We thank You, Lord, that You’re bringing together the one new man, Jew and Gentile, that we can participate in this together. We thank you Lord that in this land your glory will be revealed.

The end result of these highways of Aliyah will be Your glory being revealed.

We thank You for this in the mighty name of Yeshua. Amen. Amen.

God bless you all. Thank You Lord.
