I remembered today, as we were worshiping and praying, the verse found in Amos 9:11 of the promise of the Lord to restore David’s tabernacle, David’s tent.

Amos 9:11:

“In that day I will restore David’s fallen shelter— I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins— and will rebuild it as it used to be…”

David’s Kingship In Conflict

When David became king here in Jerusalem, he was surrounded by enemies on every side who were raiding them, who were stealing from them, who were oppressing them. But as David and all the Jewish people worshipped and their prayer went up, God gave victory to their enemies who surrounded them on every side. And I felt something was a turning point from yesterday, the 9th, through til the 11th of November, which is tomorrow, 35 days into the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Amos 9:11

The 9th to the 11th, 9:11, there’s something during this time period that is hopefully a turning of the tide concerning a couple of things, especially concerning Hamas.

And this scripture in Amos 9:11 that I received today came out of a vision that I had. As we prayed, I saw the sword of the Lord coming forth out of his mouth. And it was a very big and strong sword. And then it was sent forth, and I felt God said, speak forth the sword of the Lord at this time concerning Hamas. And so I did that.

And then, in the vision, I saw the sword come down as a wide sword underneath a huge tree with a very complicated long root system, which to me would indicate all the tunnels, the underground tunnel system that the Hamas terrorist group built all of these years in Gaza.

And so I saw the sword of The Lord come under this tree, under the roots, and suddenly it just flipped. And it uprooted this huge tree and its whole root system. And I felt I should look up the sword of the Lord, and when I did that, I found that one of the few occasions when that phrase is used is in Jeremiah, chapter 47, verses four through seven, talking about the Philistines, the ones that David was facing, who lived in Gaza.

Hamas and the Philistines

Since Hamas identifies with the Philistines, with this Philistine spirit, I believe this scripture in Jeremiah is very appropriate for this time.

It says, for the day has come to destroy (and I’ll put the word Hamas wherever it has Philistines), for the day has come to destroy all Hamas, to remove all survivors who could help Tyre and Sidon. (Tyre and Sidon are in Lebanon and would represent, in modern day, the area controlled by the Hezbollah terrorist group.) The Lord is about to destroy Hamas.

The remnant from the coast of Kafter Gaza will shave her head in mourning, and Ashkelon will be silenced. You remnant on the plain, how long will you cut yourselves?

This references the fact that those who worshipped the Philistine gods would cut themselves, thinking somehow their blood would strengthen them and their gods would give them favor. But he says, it’s not going to work. He says, alas. Sword of the Lord, how long will you rest, return to your sheep, cease being still.

But how can it rest? How can it rest when the Lord has commanded it when he has ordered it?

So I believe today that we are to speak forth in the name and the blood of Yeshua. We release the sword of the Lord to uproot Hamas, to come underneath the roots, and to not just prune it where it can grow back, but to uproot that tree with its deep, strong root system.

And then I was reminded of a scripture in Amos 2:9, where he says, yet I destroyed the Amorites before them, though they were as tall as cedars. Those are huge trees, strong as the oaks. I destroyed their fruit above and their roots below.

So let’s agree together with this scripture that at this time, this will be a turning of the tide for Hamas not to just once more have its fruit clipped off and be pruned and grow back even stronger, but for its roots below to be uprooted.

The Sword of the Lord

And I felt also that the Lord was saying send forth the sword of the Lord into the area between China and Taiwan. As I understand today, there were over 600 pastors and prayer leaders meeting in Taiwan to cry out to the Lord.

They asked us to send a video encouraging them how to pray. We shared this scripture that the Lord gave some time ago, very strongly, to my wife, Patricia.

In Isaiah 27:1. It says, in that day. In that day. And we believe this is the time the Lord, with his hard and great and strong sword, will punish Leviathan, the fleeing serpent. Leviathan, the twisted serpent. And he will slay the dragon. That’s the literal Hebrew.

He will slay the dragon that lives in the sea. So this dragon spirit that would try to devour nations in the South China Sea, the East China Sea, we believe today, and this weekend is a time for the sword of the Lord to be released against this dragon spirit in the sea, that it will not be able to do what it wants to do, to cut out the great harvest of God.

The Refining Fire

And then, as we kept worshiping and praying, I felt the Lord showed me what he’s doing in the body of Christ, in the body of Messiah right now. And I saw, like, a gas stove and the flames. And as it was happening, God was stirring up the heat a little more.

I saw there was a refining pot on that stove, and there was liquid silver in it, and the heat was getting turned up to refine the silver, to bring up the dross, to separate the dross, that it could be taken away so that the silver could be pure and refined.

And I felt the Lord was saying, I’m turning up the heat with this on my body in Israel and worldwide. But it’s a good heat. It’s not to destroy. It’s not a fire to destroy you but to refine you, to purify you.

And then I saw what He poured out in the vision. It was this liquid silver, and He poured it into what became coins. And then each of the coins would be given, and a harvest would be given in return.

And I felt by that, that he was saying that He’s had to hold back the harvest to keep it from being spoiled by things in the body of Christ. I felt he said things like pride, arrogance, offense, unforgiveness, jealousy, envy, competition, and compromise with sin had held us back from receiving the great harvest because we would contaminate the harvest.

So in His mercy and grace, He’s turning up the heat. And if you feel the heat, it’s a good thing. He’s refining us, He’s purifying us. And as we cooperate, as we yield to His refining process, then we will come forth like silver that can be given to purchase, as it were, the harvest.

Pray for the Harvest to Come

Now, Yeshua is ultimately the one, obviously, who purchased the harvest, but I believe through this vision, he was saying that he would not release the harvest until he purified and refined his body in such a way that we would not contaminate that harvest, but we will guard and keep and see the fullness of that harvest brought in to his granary.

That harvest is his and belongs to Him. So let us keep praying and believing together that all over the world, every war, every regional war, and conflict will be contained and restrained in such a way that it will not stop and abort the great harvest but also that it will do everything it has to do.

All the uprooting that it is to do in this time will happen, and that the sword of the Lord will uproot Hamas at this time. But Remember Amos 9:11 in these times, not just a destruction of the plottings of evil men, but the restoration, the repairing, and the rebuilding.
