Hello, this is Rick Ridings coming to you with a prayer alert from Jerusalem. It’s Friday, August 14th. This past Monday, early in the morning, I felt like I heard a clear word from the Lord very strongly, and that was: “Unravel the financing of jihad.”

Once again, “Unravel the financing of jihad.” And I felt that this tied in with a dream actually, it was a vision that I’d had some years ago, and you can find it on the Succat Hallel website of a queen spider who had succeeded in tightly weaving together spiderwebs of evil systems that normally shouldn’t even be able to work together.

But, she really succeeded in making them work with one another in a very evil system.

Unraveling the Web of Babylon

It was things like, say, Islam and wokeism, which you wouldn’t usually put together, or communism and all these things. She had succeeded in making them so tightly woven that it was like a carpet, and it looked like a Persian carpet.

She was sitting on the Persian carpet with a crown on her head that said “Babylon.” Now we know eventually Babylon will be totally overthrown in Revelation; it’s very clear in the Book of Revelation.

But I believe many prophetic things have layers of fulfillment. And I believe this is a particular season where there’s a certain judgment coming against this spirit of Babylon. She was just kind of very defiant, like, “I’m flying high.”

And suddenly the Lion of Judah snuck up behind her, and He took His razor-sharp claw and pulled on one of those spiderweb threads on the west, and then on the east, and then on the north, and then on the south, and the whole thing just started unraveling.

I knew that this was a strategy from the Lord to unravel systems of evil, to set them back. But in this particular instance on Monday morning, I felt He said, “Unravel the financing of jihad.”

Beyond Physical Jihad

And as I prayed further as we prayed in the Monday morning government watch here, which you can find on YouTube we felt like the Lord said it isn’t just physical jihad as expressed through the Iranian regime, the Persian regime, and their proxies, but even educational jihad.

Like Qatar’s huge finances poured into university students in America and Europe to sway and shift their thinking to hate Israel and to love jihad in a sense, to excuse jihad.

It seems crazy and preposterous, but there is a jihad in the media, there is a jihad in the educational systems, and then there’s the physical jihad that we deal with very strongly here in Israel. You can look up more about that vision if you want to on the Succat Hallel website.

Job and Isaiah

Here are the scriptures that we proclaimed Monday morning and are also there on the website. From Job chapter 5, verses 12 and 13: “He thwarts”—speaking of the Lord—“thwarts the plans of the crafty so that their hands achieve no success.

He catches the wise” those who think they are wise “in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away.” Job 8:13–15: “Such is the destiny of all who forget God.”

So we believe the true and living God, the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. “So perishes the hope of the godless. What they trust in is fragile.” We need to realize that it’s more fragile than many think. “What they rely on is a spider’s web.

They lean on the web, but it gives way.” And then in Isaiah chapter 59, verses 5 through 6(opens in new tab): “They” speaking of evil systems “hatch harmful plots like snakes’ eggs. They spin their lies like a spider spins its web.” I believe this is especially relevant to the media.

“Whoever eats their eggs,” it says, “dies, and a poisonous snake gets hatched. Their webs cannot substitute as clothing.” They cannot even cover themselves with the lies that they spin, nor can their works cover themselves adequately. In other words, they will be exposed. These lies will be exposed.

They can’t be covered by what they spin. And then it says, “Their actions are evil, and the wages of violence is in their hands.” So the scriptures are clear.

Sometimes we have to wait a long time, but they are clear, as it is in Psalm 73 and other places, that some who seem so successful, so prosperous, and so able to get away with evil plots and evil schemes, suddenly in a moment they are brought down.
