This evening in Jerusalem begins the great feast of Shavuot 2024 on the Hebrew calendar, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And today is June 11th here. And we’re believing God for something mighty to happen. Behind me, at the Temple Mount, at the western wall, there will be tens of thousands of Jewish people who will read the scriptures all night tonight. And we’re asking God to come and bring revelation of Yeshua in the scriptures as they are there, and that the Holy Spirit will come powerfully on this Shavuot.
Isaiah 28:5-6: God Will Be a Glorious Crown
But in terms of current prayer concerning our situation with the war with Hamas, I felt very strongly over a whole week now, a scripture that I’d like to share with you. It’s from Isaiah, chapter 28, verses five and six.
It says,
“In that day, the Lord Almighty will be a glorious crown, a beautiful wreath for the remnant of his people”
In other words, He will be like a crown of governmental authority upon his remnant, people who are praying, who are the intercessors, the priesthood, standing in the gap for the remnant of his people.
And I believe that includes you in the nations who are standing as a remnant as well, the nations with the remnant here in Israel.
“He will be a spirit of justice to the one who sits in judgment and a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.”
The Turning Point of Shavuot 2024
So I’d been feeling in the last week that somehow we were at a turning point, that the battle is at the gate, and that He would be a source of strength to turn back the battle at the gate.
And I felt like there would be some kind of breakthrough both for Israel And within the nations concerning the long, long, heavy battle that we have all been involved in.
The battle has been waged so strongly to bring such lies and untrue things against Israel by powers of darkness using groups like the iranian regime, Hamas, Hezbollah the Houthis, and also the international courts of justice and in government and media.
And I felt like the Lord wanted to encourage us that this is a season at Shavuot, at Pentecost, on the Hebrew calendar. It’s a time for a turning of the tide, a time for more breakthroughs.
As we’ve been persevering, sometimes we just have to persevere and persevere and persevere, but sometimes then breakthroughs begin to come. And I felt this, this whole last week.
And as you know, this last week on Shabbat, we had four of the hostages miraculously rescued.
This could have been a total disaster. It could have been that all the soldiers tried to rescue them were killed and the hostages rescued. And this could have turned into a very, very deeply saddening thing for the nation, but it turned into a time of great celebration, great rejoicing for the whole nation, as we saw four of our hostages released alive.
So that felt like a turning of the tide.
Zechariah 9:11: Prisoners Freed
It was interesting to me because we had been together that Wednesday before. We were near Gaza in a city called Ashdod, meeting with a group called Welcome the King of Glory, which had many Jewish and Arab pastors and intercessors.
And as we were praying, the Lord gave us this scripture to proclaim very strongly on Wednesday near Gaza: Zechariah 9:11.
“As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit.”
Together we proclaimed this Scripture in unity near the Gaza border, all the Jewish and Arabic believers, and on Saturday, they were released.
So I want to encourage you also to proclaim this scripture and hold on and believe with us that many, many more hostages will be released alive, those who are still alive, that there will be miracles, miraculous rescue operations, and that there will be a turning of the tide in that way.
The Egyptian Border Secure
It also felt like a turning of the tide in the fact that finally. The border, that what’s called the Philadelphia corridor, the border with Egypt, where arms were continually smuggled in afresh to Hamas and kept them freshly armed, that was taken over by Israel through the operation in Rafah and along that border. And that is huge militarily.
This means that now Hamas has no way to get new weapons into them. They cannot be smuggled in from Egypt anymore. That border is now closed. So military experts are saying this is a major turning point in the whole war with Hamas, because finally, Hamas cannot be rearmed.
So thank you for continuing to pray for a turning of the tide and breakthroughs in great ways in the war with Hamas.
A Turning in Europe
The week before, we were also in Brussels with the European Coalition for Israel Prayer Summit, and as we prayed there, we prayed for a breakthrough in Europe. It’s just been one of the worst places coming against Israel.
And we prayed in the European Union elections that there would be a turning of the tide and praise God, there was.
The prime minister of Belgium resigned. He was so strongly defeated by those with a more conservative, pro family, pro Israel view that they said he resigned in tears, a prime minister crying for himself in self pity and resigning.
And he was the main voice in Europe, asking the European Union to sanction Israel to make economic sanctions against Israel. And he was soundly defeated and taken out of office.
There was also great victory in France. President Macron had to call snap elections. There was a huge turn in France in the voting that was toward the groups that are pro Israel and pro family values, pro biblical, Judeo-Christian values in France, the same in Italy.
So let’s pray into that as well. And let’s not let the enemy discourage us.
Strengthen Intercessors and Continue to Turn the Tide
Father, we thank you that you are a source of strength, as you said here, to those who turn back the battle at the gate, would you strengthen every intercessor who watches these prayer alerts, every intercessor who comes and prays with us here at Succat Hallel.
Would you strengthen every intercessor, Lord, to turn back the battle at the gate and to see the full turning of the tide? We believe you for it.
In the mighty name of Yeshua.
Prayers for Dor Haba
Now, before I close, I’d like to share with you a need.
At the end of July, we have a youth camp conference called Dor Haba. It means the emerging generation. It already is filled up.
There will be 200 young people, teenagers there, and about 100 young adults that are part of the helping lead in this camp for the teenagers, and these are Jewish, arab and Palestinian young people.
So would you pray with us for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit during this Shavuot season? Pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the end of July that every teenager and every young adult will have a fresh encounter with Yeshua that changes their life.
We also need miraculous breakthroughs in finances. We need to see over $120,000 come in to cover the cost of lodging and food and the venue for these young people.
They pay a minimal fee and we subsidize most of their costs. And so we need to see a breakthrough of about $120,000 by the end of this month. So would you pray about that?
And if the Lord would lead you, then you can go to the Succat Hallel partner page, and you can donate there through PayPal.
Bless you, from Jerusalem. Amen.
How do we live the Semon on the Mount in times like this? What does Matthew 5 have to offer? How a should we be praying for those on the other side of this war?
We have had a prophecy here confirmingng your message. To continue, we are to watch changed in Switzerland, France with reb8val. Italy, Germany and n9w Egypt.
Election outcome here to be dramatic and world chang8ng as corrup5ion at highest l3vels is exposed. 8ncluded is our Supreme Court wh8ch will be hit HARD.
We are not immune to war as the Father says its time to destroy the root.Hamas is also a poisonous root try8ng to c9nsume Israel.
We Stand. Trusting the Holy One to overshadow.
I desperately need deliverance.please pray my feet are being bitten at night
