It’s day 222 of the war, May 15th. Yesterday was an amazing day here in Israel, as we celebrated the founding of the modern state of Israel on the Hebrew calendar. I loved what someone said, “Happy birthday to Israel, 3000 years old and 76 years young.” That kind of sums it all up.
Prayers Against Witchcraft Conference in Sapir
But today, I would like to alert you to a special prayer need. We’ve been informed with the actual forwarding of the invitations that there is a witchcraft conference planned to start tomorrow, May 16, through May 18, here in Israel.
And they are calling upon witches from the land to come and meet together.
They said there would be an actual true wiccan witch, that there would be a shamanist, that there would be enchanters. And they encourage people, even to bring children and young people to learn the fun of channeling ancient gods and all of this kind of thing.
Obviously, this is an abomination to the Lord God Almighty, who made it so very clear that witchcraft, like idolatry, was not to be found among his people.
And an amazing thing in this is that one intercessor, about two months ago received from the Lord a list of specific towns and cities where she felt the Lord said there was a portal, an open door to evil that needed to be closed. And one of those was a small town called Sapir in the south of the country order with Jordan.
And she thought, what in the world? Why am I sensing we need to do something about shutting a door of evil in Sapir? And then someone sent this invitation and said, we need to really be praying about this. This conference is in Sapir, in that exact town. So a group of Jewish messianic intercessors have gone down there.
They have prayed for protection over the area, over the people, over the area, over Israel, prayed that either this will be canceled or thrown into utter confusion and disarray.
And we want to pray and believe the Lord with them that it will either be canceled or that it will be thrown into such disarray that it will just turn people off to witchcraft. And we want to believe as well that should they have this gathering, or any kind of outside gathering, that any kind of curses, any kind of witchcraft, will be turned into a blessing.
Isaiah 22:22: What You Shut, No Man May Open
And today, on the 222nd day of the war, we think of Isaiah 22:22.
“I have laid on your shoulder the key of the house of David. And what you shut, no man can open. What you open, no man can shut.”
So we take the key of the house of David, of the tabernacle of David, and we close the door to witchcraft within Israel and witchcraft against Israel. And we say, according to Numbers 23:23, there is no witchcraft, no divination that will prosper, that will prevail against Israel.
And we thank you, Lord, that that is your word, it is your promise. I encourage you to read that whole passage in Numbers 23, the story of Balaam, who is hired to curse Israel, but because God stops him sovereignly, his donkey is stopped on the way.
God speaks to him clearly, and instead, he pronounces a blessing over Israel. So let’s believe the Lord that any kind of witchcraft, any kind of curses that are aimed at Prime Minister Netanyahu or the decision makers of Israel, or against Israel in general, will not prevail. And not only that, but actually the curses will be turned into blessings, as they were with Balaam.
Our Prayer Against Witchcraft in Israel
So, Father, thank you for our dear intercessors who pray together with us for this land. Anoint them as they pray into these verses.
From Numbers 23:23, we know the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty, through God, to the pulling down even of strongholds. So we put a helmet of salvation upon the head of Prime Minister Netanyahu and the war cabinet and the decision makers at this time, a strategic time, that their minds will not be confused, their minds will not be affected by any kind of witchcraft agenda, by any kind of globalist agenda, Islamic jihadist agenda.
We pray no other agenda will prevail, but that your purposes and your plans will stand firm, and that this witchcraft will not be able to bring confusion, but your helmet of salvation will be upon them.
And we bring every thought captive to the obedience of Yeshua, the Messiah, that they would have your thoughts and your thoughts would prevail. As to the important decisions that need to be made over this next week or two, we pray, O God, for your perfect will to prevail.
And as you’ve spoken to us before, we believe you, Lord, that miraculously there will be an uprooting of Hamas, that they will truly be uprooted, not just pruned, but uprooted. And so guard the thoughts, guard the protection.
Forgive, Lord, these Israelis who’ve been involved in witchcraft.
Forgive them and reveal to them how this will only bring bondage and death and destruction to their lives and let them find life through the blood of Yeshua. We pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen.

Years ago the Lord appeared to me and specifically told me to cast down the imaginations of a man we were praying for. He immediately was baptized in the Holy Spirit, laughing and crying and praising God. Thank you so much Rick for your encouragement and teaching, as we pray for our beloved Israelis/Jewish people, all the people in Israel to be set free and not attracted to witchcraft, so we pray the same prayer for the nation we are living in. I am living in Cornwall, UK, and witchcraft is rife here, but there is a harvest here, and those of us who truly love Messiah need to start moving in the ministry of deliverance, to set people free.
