We want to wish all of you a happy Hebrew new year. We had a very special time of celebration here Monday evening of the feast of trumpets. I am sharing this with you today something urgent. I sense in my heart something the Lord showed several years ago, more than ten years ago.

A Great Worldwide Harvest and The Threat of War

I shared it with a group that meets in the States each year to hear what God is saying prophetically. I felt a time was coming when a great worldwide harvest would begin, a move of God among this generation to reclaim them.

When that move began, Satan would try to stop it through a premature world war. He would take regional conflicts that God was allowing for His purposes and try to escalate them into a global war. This same strategy worked in World War I.

There was a great move of the Holy Spirit at Azusa Street, in Wales, and other places. A young generation was raised up with a deep zeal for missions. They were called the Student Volunteer Missions Movement.

It was mostly university students from top schools like Harvard, Oxford, and Heidelberg in Germany. Many went out knowing they might be martyred in the places they were called to. It was a powerful move of God.

But Satan succeeded in stirring up the regional conflicts of that time into a global war. Where once Americans, British, and Germans worked together as missionaries to reach the nations, now they were forced to fight and kill one another.

Pray for Containing and Restraining

I felt the Lord spoke to me that when the next great harvest begins, Satan will again try to turn regional conflicts into a premature world war. God allows certain conflicts for His purposes, but Satan seeks to escalate them. This could even involve nuclear strikes or other large-scale destruction.

The Lord said that when this happens, intercessors should pray two words, contain and restrain. Every regional conflict must be contained and restrained for the purpose God allows.

Here in the Middle East, after the October 7th invasion in 2023, we felt God spoke clearly. This time, the conflict was not meant to be a simple pruning like in the past. When Israel struck Hamas or Hezbollah before, the nations would soon demand that the war stop.

War is horrible, and none of us desire it. But each time it stopped too early, groups like Hamas and Hezbollah rebuilt stronger than before, with more tunnels, rockets, and trained fighters. On October 8th, 2023, I felt the Lord say to pray that this conflict would bring not pruning, but an uprooting of Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and the Houthis.

That is how we are praying. We need to continue praying that way. But it must still be contained and restrained.

I believe that by striking the nuclear capabilities of Iran, the regional conflict here was contained and did not grow into something much larger. If Iran had achieved nuclear capability, it could have spread quickly.

The same is true of what is happening between Russia and Ukraine, which could easily grow into a broader conflict across Europe. I believe God’s purpose is to uproot systems of evil both in Russia and in governments across Europe. So we pray for the uprooting of evil systems.

Pray for the Unraveling of the Plans of the Enemy

Another picture I have seen, which many of you know, is of the Lion of Judah coming in response to the intercessors. He reaches out His claw and unravels a tightly woven carpet of Islamic, woke, and witchcraft ideologies and systems.

There was a queen spider sitting on that carpet who said, “I have this all wrapped up.” She had spent years weaving these systems together. But the Lion of Judah came up behind her and, with one motion of His claw, unraveled the carpet.

The plans of Satan began to unravel, first from the west, then the east, then the north, and finally the south. I encourage us in this season to pray that the plans of the enemy will be unraveled.

With all that is happening at the UN, and with nations declaring a so-called Palestinian state that would actually be a terror state, we need to pray for confusion in the enemy’s camp. Let the Lion of Judah tear apart those plans. Let them divide against each other and be thwarted.
