Greetings, this is Rick Ridings coming to you from Jerusalem, from Succat Hallel. I think most of you would be aware by now that President Trump has flown into the Middle East.
He is in meetings that started today on Tuesday and will go through this Friday.
He’s meeting with the leaders mainly from the Arabian Peninsula, so places like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Qatar.
Prayers for Trump Meetings and Negotiations
We felt led to pray in two ways as we prayed yesterday at the Government Watch and today in the Isaiah 19 Watch here.
First of all, to bind any kind of negative thing the enemy would try to bring out of these meetings.
Then, let’s pray into the long-term purposes of God for these nations and for that region of the Arabian Peninsula.
So first of all, in terms of these meetings with President Trump and his advisers, negotiators with the leaders of these Gulf countries—we’re proclaiming this.
And I’ll just pray Psalm 140 verses 4–11.
Psalm 140:4-11: Prayers for Protection and Guidance
Lord God of Israel, Lord God Almighty, we pray and believe You, Lord, for President Trump and all of his advisers and negotiators that You will keep them safe from the hands of the wicked and from the violent who would devise ways to trip his feet.
The arrogant may have hidden a snare for President Trump and those advisers with him. They may have spread out cords of their net. They may have set traps for him along his path.
But we say to you, O Lord, You are our God, and You are his God.
Helmet of Salvation and Mental Protection
Hear, Lord, our cry for mercy:
Sovereign Lord, our strong deliverer, may You shield his head on the day of battle, and this is the day of battle over the future of the Middle East.
We pray the helmet of salvation upon him, that You will shield his head, O Lord, and that he will be protected from any kind of thoughts that would come from the spirits behind Islam, wokeism, globalism, and witchcraft that would be working through any of the leaders they will meet with.
We pray that his head and the heads of his advisers and negotiators will be shielded, and we bring every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ.
Prayers Against Evil Plans
We pray again further here in the psalm:
Lord, do not grant the wicked their desires.
Lord, do not let their plans succeed.
Those who surround me—and here we’re speaking of Israel—proudly rear their heads.
But we pray, O Lord, may the mischief of their lips engulf them. We pray this, especially over those from Qatar who have stood with Hamas and harbored Hamas.
We pray that any mischief of their lips would engulf them. May burning coals fall on them. May they be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, never to rise.
Lord, we pray that they will repent. That they will deter from any kind of evil things in their hearts to destroy the people of Israel.
But we pray for those who will not repent, Lord, that they will fall into the pits they have dug, never to arise. May slanderers not be established in the land.
We pray for those who would lie and who would cleverly lie—slanderers—to not be established, instead that they will be exposed. We also pray that any kind of lies that would seek to entrap those from the West would be exposed.
May disaster hunt down the violent, Lord, those who have been violent—once again, like Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and the Arabian regime–let them either repent or let them be hunted down and let disaster come upon them.
Freedom for the Oppressed
Lord, we pray that the people of the Middle East who have been enslaved and oppressed by these terrorist groups may be set free. And that Israel may be set free.
We pray also for President Trump and all of his advisers involved in negotiations.
Lord, remind them of Your word when You say in Psalm 119, verse 110:
The wicked have set a snare for me—a trap—but I have not strayed from your precepts.
He has heard from many people who have shared with him Your word: that those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel, or do things that take the future of Israel lightly will be cursed, and that those who divide up the land will be cursed.
Lord, we pray against any kind of snare, any kind of trap of the enemy that it will be exposed, and any lies will be exposed fully and completely and not be able to do what the enemy would want to do through them.
Vision of a Highway of Light
Then, Lord, we also pray under Your positive plans for the Arabian Peninsula nations. I remember the vision You gave me in 2018 of a highway of light developing, and You mentioned specifically places like the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
This was written on our website in 2018. That you were going to bring a highway of light. But in what You showed me, Saudi Arabia even gave into that highway of light and Egypt eventually.
So, Father, we pray for the true highways of light. We pray for light to come, as it came out in the Isaiah 19 Watch this morning, that You will open a gate for your light to enter in.
So we pray, O Lord, for a highway of light of nations. We pray against counterfeit highways and things that would not line up with Your light but with darkness.
Business and Worship in the Last Days
And then one last thing I’d like to pray is from Isaiah 60:6. It talks about, in the context of Jerusalem, a time when the light of the Lord begins to rise in Jerusalem.
While thick darkness is over the earth, it says the kings will come to the brightness of the Lord rising in this city.
And then, in verse six, it says this:
To Jerusalem, to Israel, herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Epha.
Now, that can sound like we don’t need a lot more camels here, but actually what it is talking about is new business routes will be opened.
Camels were the means of transportation for business, so there is going to be great blessing of business back and forth between Israel and those in the Arabian Peninsula.
All these places: Midian, Epha, Sheba, other places, Neviat, they’re all in the Arabian Peninsula. So he’s prophesying that in the last days, at a time when God begins to rebuild and rise upon Jerusalem, God will reestablish highways of commerce, of blessing back and forth.
And he says it will not stop there. He says those from Sheba, and Sheba is the southern part of Saudi Arabia, and even Yemen is part of that, will actually not only bring finances to Israel, but they will come with incense and with worship, with praise to the Lord God of Israel in Jerusalem.
So let’s pray into this long-term purpose of God that there will be many Saudis and Yemenis who will come eventually to Israel, bringing praise to the Lord God of Israel in Jerusalem.
Final Blessing and Declaration
Father, we thank You that Your plans for every nation are plans for good and not for evil, and so we come against every plan of Satan, for evil and deception and snares and traps, and we release Your plans for good.
We come against any counterfeit highways, and we release your highways of light to be raised up from all the way from the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
We pray, Lord, that there will be peace, a true shifting and changing of attitude toward Israel.
And so, Lord, we pray, pull out everything in those countries that promotes darkness. Pull out the lies. Pull out the deception.
But let Your truth and let Your light and let Your good plans for those nations and their people arise. And also for the people of Israel. We pray Your good plans and Your purposes will prevail.
In the name of Yeshua, Amen.
I’m in agreement with your praying of The Word and decrees, this is Kingdom of GOD praying, HIS WORD does not return to HIM void….thank you for your commitment and please continue to share your heart and prayers…Shalom Shalom
I was able to visit Succat Hallel recently, while volunteering with Christian Friends of Israel. What an amazing ministry! Leon toured us through and we prayed for Israel on the rooftop.
I will continue to pray with you for the wonderful people of Israel🙏❤️🇦🇷
