It’s the 215th day of the war, and today is Victory Day, a very special memory day. It’s the day victory was declared in Europe during World War II. Hitler and the Nazis entirely surrendered, and it was clear the war was over. So, it gives us hope for what can happen in our war today.
Victory Day in Israel and Our War with Hamas
We need to realize that if the Allies had been under international pressure and had stopped short of their goal and said, well, we’ve made a lot of progress, we’ve beaten three-fourths of Hitler’s army, and if they left Hitler and one-fourth of his army in place, then where would Europe be today?
Realize also that it was merciful for the people of Germany that the Allies finished the war. It was to set them free from the evil, oppressive pharaoh spirit working through Hitler, not just for the rest of the world, but even for the sake of the people of Germany.
The best thing that could be done for them was to finish the war and totally uproot the Nazi system. And, then, once they had control of the government and education, they were able to bring in reeducation to teach how wrong Nazi ideology had been.
They were able to train the people in a new way, even as the Nazi propaganda had trained them in an evil way. So I think there’s a great parallel here today with Hamas, that it is not wisdom, but it’s not even just wisdom.
It’s not mercy for the people of Gaza, let alone the people of Israel, to force Israel not to uproot Hamas.
This is a time when this finally has to be finished. No longer can the tree of Hamas just be pruned, but it must be uprooted.
Prayers for Israel’s Victory
I’d encourage you to pray these scriptures together with me.
In Matthew 15:13, we declare today this word that Yeshua spoke over. We declare it over Hamas today: Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Let me say that again. Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. So we declare this today over the whole Hamas terrorist organization.
You are a plant that was not planted by a heavenly Father, but you were planted by the Father of Lies, the evil one that brings darkness and bondage not only to Israel but to the people of Gaza.
So, Lord God Almighty, we believe you, according to your great mercies for the of Gaza as well as the people of Israel, that Hamas will be uprooted in such a way that it will never again be able to bring the people under its oppressive evil ideology.
And then in Amos Chapter 9, this is a good scripture to proclaim over Israel. This particular scripture was in the weekly reading on the day the Declaration of Independence was signed in Israel. Every Friday and Saturday, the same scriptures are read in synagogues all over the world, and it’s called the Barashah.
So, one of our leaders here at Sucat Hallel realized that it was a Friday afternoon when they signed the Declaration of Independence for the Modern State of Israel in 1948, and this is what they read in the synagogue right after they signed it.
They started reading Amos 9 at the beginning, which says, “And in that day, I will rebuild the fallen tabernacle of David.” So God is restoring the 24/7 worship and prayer, the tabernacle of David, to prepare the throne of David, the house of David in our time.
But then, going down to verse 14, he says, “And I will bring my people, Israel, back from exile.” In other words, they’re the ancient Indigenous, 3,000-year-old people of the land, but most had been exiled by the Romans and others.
“They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine. They will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land. So this is what the heavenly Father has planted.”
He says, “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land that I have given them.”
So if you go to Tel Aviv and you go to Independence Hall there, you’ll see they’ve actually painted this scripture on the wall of Independence Hall because they realized that in the reading in the synagogues for that week, God was saying, I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them.
Thank you, Rick Ridings, for your clear message and the scriptures! shalom, Elisabeth from Germany. about 35 years before, my husband gave me a cassette with a message of joy from you. 14 days you blessed a sad man with joy and it
worked only by prayer. You spoke also of light, which is stronger than darkness.
Now Eckhard and I are married since nearly 35 years and have a 31 year old son,
who loves Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke a thorough, touching address to our Congress, many stood on various parts ,but, not all applaud..we have division in this branch of Government…but the greatest majority of citizens love Israel and pray daily for The Peace of Jerusalem…Shalom Shalom
I have decided to walk in prayer with you, hand in hand and pray specifically for the peace of Jerusalem and all of Israel. And would you please join me in praying for the peace of America and all of its citizens to also follow Yeshua. Faithfully yours, James from Venezuela and now San Diego, CA.
