Right now, there’s much news about the massacre of the Druze that is happening at the hands of jihadists in southern Lebanon. You can look it up yourself on platforms like X, where many videos are emerging that resemble the October 7th massacre, horrific acts carried out by jihadists against the Druze.
The Druze and Syrian Christian Persecution
The Druze are a people who have stood together with Israel, and I believe that is part of why they are being so severely persecuted.
Praise God that Israel has stepped in with both military and humanitarian aid, while much of the world turns away, ignoring what is truly a genocide simply because the victims are Druze or Syrian Christians. These communities are being specifically targeted for their identity.
People have been burned alive. Babies have been taken hostage. Women and small children have been raped—these are acts mirroring what we saw on October 7th. Yet, most of the international media is framing it as intertribal warfare, which is absolutely false.
Yes, some local tribes like the Bedouin have turned against the Druze, but what is truly happening is that jihadists are being imported from places like Chechnya. Radical ISIS fighters are being brought into Syria to attack innocent Druze and Syrian Christians, targeted solely for being Druze or Christian.

Pray for the Truth to Reveal Itself in This Persecution
We urge you to pray for quick and full exposure of the truth. Much of the world has been deceived by Golani, the head of Syria, who changed his ISIS uniform for a suit and spoke the “right” words. But his actions speak louder—government troops have been involved in protecting the perpetrators, even while he claims to be sending in forces to stop the violence, and the massacre continues.
Pray that the truth about the slaughter of Syrian Druze and Southern Syrian Christians will be exposed. Pray that the media will pick it up and accurately report it—not as tribal infighting but as the genocide it truly is.
As of today, Tuesday, at least a thousand Druze have been killed, including an evangelical Druze pastor who came to know Jesus and had been severely persecuted. He and 20 members of his family were brutally martyred by these jihadists.
Pray for great grace, healing, and comfort for these Syrian Christians and the Druze. Pray that Israel will continue to stand strong and bring in aid despite world opposition, doing what must be done to protect the Druze before they are completely wiped out.
Pray for Western leaders who have been charmed by so-called President Golani, a man who was never elected and who has an extremist past. May any masks he wears be removed and the truth exposed before more lives are lost.
Please help spread the word. Forward this message to others because the mainstream press is largely ignoring this tragedy. Yet, there are many videos and firsthand testimonies, especially from Syrian Christians we are directly in contact with. This is a real massacre—an ongoing genocide against Syrian Christians and the Druze.
Galatians 3:13-14: Jesus Became a Curse so that We Might be Blessed
One final point, during our Isaiah 19 Watch this morning, we sensed a clear word regarding blessing versus curse. These jihadist movements operate in a culture of cursing, constantly speaking death and destruction over others.
We prayed that every curse spoken against the Druze, Syrian Christians, Kurds, Yazidis, and other oppressed groups would be broken by the power of the blood of Yeshua, Jesus.
According to Galatians 3:13-14, Jesus became a curse for us on the cross so that all curses might be broken, and the blessing of Abraham might come upon us.
Pray that these truths will be revealed to those suffering. One of our Muslim-background believers from Succat Hallel is visiting the Druze in northern Israel this weekend to share how curses can be broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. Pray for great anointing on this outreach.
These people are not believers, but there is a new openness. Pray that through all of this suffering, there will be a great turning to the Lord among the Druze, that the power of the blood of Jesus will break generational curses, and the blessing of Abraham will be released.
We also pray today for Gaza, that the culture of cursing there may be broken as well. May blessings come instead. Pray for quick action to protect the Syrian Christians and the Druze.
We bless you from Jerusalem in the name of Yeshua. Amen.
